Ingredients List
- ½ cup beeswax pastilles (or finely chopped beeswax)
- 3 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 1½ tbsp olive oil (or sweet almond oil)
- 1 tsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 16 drops peppermint essential oil
- Optional: 2–3 drops vitamin E oil
Recipe
- Set up a double boiler. Add beeswax, coconut oil and olive oil; warm gently until fully melted.
- Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa powder until smooth, then add peppermint essential oil (and vitamin E, if using).
- Pour immediately into clean lip balm tubes or small tins/jars. Work quickly—balm sets fast as it cools.
- Let cool at room temperature ~1 hour until firm.
